To be a part of the Engelking family, it is a rule that you MUST love the outdoors....particularly hunting and fishing. So it was no surprise that since day 1, Jax has been a natural outdoorsman. His most favorite thing to do is go to the hunting lease with his Poppa. A couple of weekends ago, Jason and I went to Fort Worth so the boys stayed with mom and dad. That Saturday it was a beautiful day so he decided to take Jax down to the ranch. They had a fun-filled day of fishing, playing in the dirt, shooting guns, and well.....doing what guys do best!

Yep, he learned how to shoot his first pistol.....
I've never seen a 4 yr old so excited and proud to have reached such a huge milestone....finally being old enough to learn how to shoot a gun is a big deal around here!
Dad, thank you for taking Jax and sharing these special moments with him. It reminds me of the hours upon end that I would spend with Pop....memories that are stored in my heart and will never be replaced. These moments are just as special to me as they are to Jax!
