This past week the South Plains Fair has been here....now, for all of you out of town folks, when the fair comes to town, it's a BIG deal! Especially for the kids. I can remember when I was a kid, the fair was so exciting. My mom would pick us up early from school so we could spend the day at the fair....we also always showed our livestock there. Lots of fun, Lots of memories!
We have taken the boys every year but this year was so much fun because they are both old enough now to know what everything is and to enjoy every second. Luckily, every year we have managed to skip by the rides without any questions...not sure how much longer that will last!

As for me, I thoroughly enjoyed the strawberry lemonade, fried cheese on a stick, turkey legs, and.....oh I could go on and on....
