We made it!

Friday OH Friday, I thought you would never get here! But, WE MADE IT! Jax had a very successful first week of school! We are all extremely worn out but for the most part, it went very smooth! Thursday morning was pretty rough, Jax was so tired and just didn't want to go. Mrs. Bundy said that he cried before nap time because he didn't want to lay down but was asleep within 10 minutes. That just shows how tired he was. I have just been so emotionally drained all week, constantly worrying about him, is he having a good time, are the other kids being nice, what are they doing now, I hope he's happy, does he hate me for making him go to school, and on and on and on. Maddox has been very lonely without him. He just runs through the house saying his name over and over. He has also been super tired because he is not used to getting up so early. He's my late sleeper and usually sleeps until 8:30 or 9:00. 7:00 AM has been a big shock to his system! Plus, I have to make sure he lays down for a nap early enough that he will be up in time to go pick up Jax. Whew, this schedule change has been quite the challenge! BUT, I know everything will fall into place and our routine will get easier and easier. As far as the school goes, we are SO HAPPY to be sending them to a small school. Jax got to go to the pep-rally today and it reminded me of being a kid. Pep-rally's were my most favorite thing when I was little! Even though he was highly disappointed because he thought he was going to get to watch a basketball game, it's still fun for them to be able to experience all the activities! His class even won the spirit stick!! So, that wraps up our first week of school! Maddox starts his little school next Tuesday so things should get even more crazy and interesting!!
